Interior Designers Who Make Their Own Furniture: How Beyond Studio Works With My Beautiful Home

Most homes are designed by one company and furnished by several others. The designer draws a plan, then orders furniture from a vendor, the kitchen from another, and the wardrobes from a third. Details get lost along the way.

Beyond Studio is part of My Beautiful Home, the Bangalore interior design house, which means design and making sit in the same team.

Where Beyond Comes From

My Beautiful Home began in 2015, designing and delivering spaces. Working on those homes taught us how much furniture shapes the way a space feels and functions. That understanding took us beyond design and into making, and Beyond Studio is the result: a design-led furniture and manufacturing unit that is part of My Beautiful Home.

What Changes When Designers Make the Furniture

  • The furniture is designed for the room, not picked from a catalogue and hoped to fit.
  • Dimensions, materials and finishes can be adjusted to the interior plan, because the maker is in the same conversation.
  • Fewer handoffs: the person who imagined the room is close to the person building the sofa, the table or the wardrobe.
  • One point of accountability, instead of a designer and three vendors pointing at each other when something is off.

What We Can Do for Your Home

  • Full interior design from concept to completion through My Beautiful Home
  • Bespoke furniture: sofas, beds, dining tables, consoles, bedside tables and storage
  • Modular kitchens, wardrobes and architectural cabinetry
  • Individual pieces from the Beyond collections for homes that already have a designer

Working With Your Own Designer or Architect

You do not have to use My Beautiful Home for interiors to work with Beyond. Designers and architects can bring us a brief and we will develop and build the pieces, or adapt something from our collections to their drawings.

From Koramangala, Across Bangalore

Our corporate office is in 6th Block, Koramangala, and our manufacturing unit is in Anekal on the Sarjapur side of the city. We work with homes and commercial spaces across Bangalore.
