Top Interior Designers in Koramangala, Bangalore: What to Look For (and a Studio That Designs and Makes)

Koramangala is where Beyond Studio's design office sits, in 6th Block, and where the design house that became Beyond, My Beautiful Home, started in 2015. It is a neighbourhood of compact apartments, independent houses, studios and cafes, so interiors here tend to be about making limited space work hard.

• Look at finished projects of the same type as yours, not just the best photographs
• Ask who builds the furniture and joinery: the designer, or subcontractors
• Ask what happens when the design changes mid-project
• Ask what is included: design, supply, installation, aftercare
• Ask for a clear scope in writing before work begins

Many interior firms design, then hand the work to outside carpenters and vendors. The designer and the maker are different people with different incentives, and details can get lost in between.

At Beyond Studio the same team designs and builds. Woodwork, upholstery and finishing happen at our own unit near Sarjapur Road, Anekal, so dimensions, finishes and details can be adjusted with the people making the piece.

• Storage-led wardrobes and beds for apartments
• Statement dining and living furniture for houses
• Custom seating and joinery for cafes and studios
• Modular kitchens and architectural cabinetry

We make unique Indian furniture rather than catalogue pieces, and the same workshop exports furniture around the world. If you want pieces that are not found in every showroom, this is the difference.

We have no showroom in Koramangala. We serve it from our corporate office at #883 Ground Floor, 6th Cross, 6th Block, Koramangala, with consultation, measurement, delivery and installation. Use the enquiry page and tell us about the space.
